Moritz Grossmann, the independent from watchmaker Glashütte, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month. To mark the occasion, the company presents its 7th one-off piece, the ATUM Pure M Orange.
Even in the 19th century, Moritz Grossmann experimented with the finish of his pieces, creating a range a styles to suit all tastes. Today, the ATUM Pure M Orange pays homage with nickel silver plates which have been glass bead-blasted to create a matte finish. The highly sensitive surface demands maximum precision and skill from the watchmaker. White sapphires, typical of Moritz Grossmann are pressed directly into the plate secured by flat polished steel screws.
With a blackened stainless steel case in combination with an orange alligator strap, the ATUM Pure M Orange has a sporty touch with surprises beneath. The dial is crafted from delicate filigree steel, offering an eye-catching view into the movement.
The unique lance-shaped hands match the indexes with orange HyCeram, matching the dial’s eight orange indexes with black Arabic numerals to mark the hours. At 6 o’clock, the small second shimmers in silver thanks to the evenly applied cut.
The Moritz Grossmann brand manufactures timepieces to the highest standard of craftsmanship under the motto “Schönstes deutsches Handwerk”. The ATUM Pure M Orange is offered with the calibre 201.1 in a pure classic finish as a single edition 1 of 1.
Moritz Grossman is working on something very special. Details regarding purchase options for the ATUM Pure M Orange will be published in the coming weeks.
